I ended up having to re-install my system from scratch, but I always save all my files to an external 8TB drive from Seagate. That didn’t work as it had deleted files that 7 needed but were not compatible with 10. They’re making money hand over fist and still trying to gouge the little guy by taking aways games that everyone loved and putting in advertising as well….OMG What the heck is going on? I got 10 installed on my computer from 7 and it caused so many problems it got frustrated and tried a rollback to 7. Windows 10 is a piece of SH*T and why Microsoft engineers every came up with it is beyond me.

The game shortcuts remain wherever you left them, in my case in a Games folder on the desktop, but they no longer work. That major OS features update (which we cannot decline) takes quite a while, and when it is done all of these games have been shoved down into a Windows_Old folder, along with a whole lot of other stuff.
